2017 Performer Profile – Stephanie Harpe Experience

Stephanie Harpe Experience is a HIGH ENERGY Rock & Blues Band who is comfortable with different genres of music. They play catchy originals that make you move and covers that will take you back in time. Stephanie always knew at a very young age that she wanted to perform. Starting at Good Shepherd School in Fort McMurray, her talent was recognized by her music teacher then pursued in Edmonton when she left at the age of 15. At 18 years of age she was discovered by Canadian Music Icon, Jeff Healey. She recorded her first CD self titled Stephanie Harpe Band, featuring 3 time Juno Award winner Bill Bourne in 2009 and was internationally successful. First single released went number 1 on NCI FM National top 30 countdown for two weeks.
Her songwriting abilities have been nominated at the Native American Music Awards in New York City for Colors of My Life, which was a charitable musical project. They have donated their talents for many causes and performed two times on National TV for CTV and Breakfast Television on CITY TV. They have taken 1st place out of 17 bands in Smokey Lake, which hosted musicians from all over Alberta.
Since 2006 they have opened for Trooper, Charlie Major, Blue Rodeo, Prairie Oyster, Crystal Shawanda, Digging Roots, Watermelon Slim, Savoy Brown, Tanya Tucker, Tom Cochrane with Red Ryder, Credence Clearwater Revisited, Colin James, Sonny Rhodes, Dwight Yoakam and many more. They have also shared the stage with 3 time Grammy Award winner Bill Miller. S.H.Experience is a professional band that knows how to win over an audience and warm them up for the big names and has been doing so independently.
